MARSoft

The MARSoft software performs experimental design, instrument setup, data acquisition and analysis of multiplexed assays based on Parallume optical encoding technology.

The MARSoft software package provides complete multiplex experimental design, hardware configuration, data collection and assay analysis. The straightforward and intuitive MARSoft interface guides you through every step of the multiplex design and execution process. Complete instructions and details may be found in the User Manual.

Advantages of the MARSoft software include the following.

  • The easy to use setup wizards help new users to design, setup experiment/protocol and start acquiring data in just a few minutes during their first session.
  • Completely automated data acquisition and image analysis. A BLS may be loaded and the sample data acquired and analyzed with as few as four mouse clicks as outlined below.
  • Ability to share experiment/protocol, setup files and analysis routines among multiple users.
  • The MARSoft software can transform the MARS into an automated fluorescence microscope, with multicolor excitation and emission capabilities, that may be used for your non-Parallume imaging applications.
  • Comes installed on a PC with the purchase of a MARS and may be installed on multiple machines with no licensing fees.
  • System Requirements: Windows 7 (not available for Macs), 2GB RAM, 500GB, USB, 1GB Ethernet port.
  • Since 100% of the software was designed and coded in Santa Clara CA, custom software functions and features may be easily developed.
  • Hierarchical user management for System Administrator.
  • Complete audit trail.

The facile data collection and analysis controlled by MARSoft consists of the following four simple steps.

  • The multiplex assays using the Parallume encoded beads in a Bead Localization Slide (BLS) are loaded into the MARS imaging instrument.
  • A Code Probe Association List (CPAL) is created for each assay where the probe identity is associated with its Parallume code
  • The MARS instrument is automatically configured and images the BLS
  • The MARSoft analyzes the optical data and generates a Probe Target Association List (PTAL) that provides the amount of target analyte detected for each capture probe
